Death toll from Gaza wedding tent attack likely to rise
Reporting from Gaza City
Unfortunately, the number of those killed in the attack is expected to increase. According to relatives at the wedding, the tent was packed.
Within a few minutes, it turned from a happy occasion to something really sad and bloody.
The two missiles that exploded inside the tent not only caused damage inside, but the shrapnel flew at a very high speed at the surrounding area into the displacement site school next door that was packed with displaced families.
There are close to 15 injuries, with different degrees of severity. They have been sent to both al-Shifa Hospital and the field hospital in the heart of Gaza City.
The number as of this moment has risen to five people killed, including women and children who were present at the wedding when the attack happened.
This is what Palestinians have been referring to about the anxiety, the fear, because of these attacks. Who would have thought a wedding would be attacked in the middle of the day by a drone strike?
