So that male supremacy collapses
And women become equal with men.

Chant: Viva life
So that death-worship  fades away
And life wins over death.

Don’t chant: Viva Shah!
Chant: Viva freedom
So that individuals dare to think
And let go of godfathers.

History repeats itself
First as tragedy
Second as farce.
Do people die on the streets
So that the tyranny of the Shah
Replaces the tyranny of the Mullah?
No! No! No!
Woman, Life, Freedom.
