- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held talks with United States President Donald Trump, which the White House described as “positive and productive”.
- Deputy Foreign Minister Gharibabadi says Iran will take “any action” to retain control of the Strait of Hormuz, says Tehran has no plans to negotiate with Washington.
- Yemen’s Houthis say missiles launched at Saudi oil tanker, after Saudi Arabia condemned a drone attack launched by Iran-backed groups in Iraq that targeted Riyadh as well as oil facilities in the Eastern Province.
- Oman presents a proposal to Iran for joint management of the Strait of Hormuz with “voluntary fees” that would ensure Tehran does not exercise sole control of the vital waterway
